The Problem    SUMMARY

“Dr. Mortimer, Holmes and Watson study the situation and try to solve the mystery of Sir Charles death who seems to have a heart attack in sheer fright. Though Dr Mortimer is reconciled to supernatural event being the cause, Holmes refuses to agree with the point. He is sure that there is some logical cause for the events. Sherlock Holmes cross-examines Dr. Mortimer for his logical mind refuses to be convinced by the story of the ghostly dog. After knowing about the theory of Dr. Mortimer he asks Dr. Mortimer that if it is a superstitious dog so why should he take their case? Why he want him to investigate the case?

The person who inherited Baskerville Hall was Sir Henry Baskerville who is going to arrive from Canada. Dr Mortimer fears for the life of Sir Henry Baskerville so he asked Sherlock Holmes to help solving the case. Holmes decides to help Mortimer and Henry and with the help of Watson he tries to solve the entangled mystery.”

CONCLUSION Sir Arthur Conan Doyle very interestingly describes the mystery of Sir Charles death . The story is full of humor , thrill and excitement. Mr. Doyle used a very standard and penetrating language that directly knocks the mind of the reader. It is a classic and exciting story. It helps improving ones vocabulary and develops interests for reading.
